Order Process

How To Order?

We’re thrilled to have caught your interest in our plaque-ordering process! To begin:

  • Click the “order form” tab in the top left corner
  • Fill out the form with basic info and order specifics
  • Within 3-5 business days, a friendly project manager will personally reach out via email
  • They’ll guide you through the remaining steps and offer tailored assistance

The order process varies based on your requirements. Your project manager will provide more details. Some requests may need record label approval. We’ll confirm design, billing, and delivery before invoicing. After payment, you’ll see proofs before production starts. Production takes about 4-6 weeks on average. You’ll get an email with tracking info for shipments or pick-up details. We’re looking forward to working with you, whether you’re new or returning! Let’s get started on this plaque-creating journey together.

Why do I need the record labels approval?

At Jewel Box Platinum, we are licensed by the RIAA to manufacture official RIAA-Certified awards featuring the hologram. As part of this process, we work directly with affiliated record labels to obtain the necessary approvals. We’ve established streamlined contacts at each label to facilitate this. When submitting a request, we provide the label with essential details—artist name, song or album title, achievement, recipient information, and proof of involvement.

The label’s approver then decides whether the recipient is eligible to order the plaque and which design options are available. In most cases, requests are approved if the recipient is credited on the project. However, approvals may occasionally be delayed, as some labels require the primary artist to receive their plaque first.

The approval timeline is largely outside our control, but we diligently follow up with labels to keep the process moving. While we cannot share label contact information or include clients on emails, you’re welcome to notify your label contacts of our request. We are committed to keeping you informed and ensuring a smooth process as we work closely with the labels to complete your plaque order. Your satisfaction is our priority.

What can I provide as "Proof of Credit"?

To streamline the plaque approval process with record labels, we will submit proof of your credits. The best forms of evidence are clear photos or screenshots of your name listed in published credits on reputable platforms like AllMusic, Discogs, or Spotify. For non-standard credits, such as lawyer, studio owner, or artist manager, alternative documentation like invoices, payment history, or legal agreements can be provided, with any personal or financial information redacted. Our goal is to ensure your credits are properly recognized by the label, making the plaque ordering process as seamless as possible.

Can I expedite my order?

Plaque production typically takes 4-6 weeks, but we’re always willing to go the extra mile to meet your deadlines. If you need your awards by a specific event, presentation, or holiday, please notify your project manager as soon as possible. We understand the importance of timing and will do our best to accommodate your needs.

For guaranteed delivery by a certain date, expedited production and shipping are available at an additional cost. These fees depend on factors such as the design complexity, quantity of plaques, and required turnaround time. Your project manager will provide detailed information on these costs upon request. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction and deliver your awards exactly when you need them.

Can I buy other achievement plaques besides RIAA Certified?

At Jewel Box Platinum, while we specialize in crafting stunning RIAA Certified plaques, our passion goes beyond that—we celebrate a wide variety of musical achievements:

  • Notable chart placements
  • Major streaming milestones
  • High music video view counts
  • Grammy nominations or wins
  • Impressive touring statistics

Whatever accomplishment matters to you, we’re here to commemorate it. Share your milestone with us, and we’ll collaborate to create the perfect tribute. Beyond singles and albums, we’re thrilled to honor your personal career achievements as well. Your journey is just as important, and we’re excited to be part of celebrating your success.

Can I buy an international certified award? (Ex: FIMI, ARIA award)

At Jewel Box Platinum, we are officially licensed by the RIAA to create certified awards featuring the RIAA hologram. Please note the following:

  • Our licensing is limited to the United States.
  • We do not hold official licenses from recording associations in other countries.
  • We cannot access seals, holograms, or similar elements from non-U.S. associations.

However, we can design plaques to commemorate overall sales achievements in other countries in a general format. If you would like an award that includes a seal or hologram from a different country’s recording association, you will need to obtain those elements from the respective association and mail them to us. We will then incorporate them into the final award design.

What are the requirements for providing art assets?

To ensure the highest quality of products and services, we kindly ask our clients to provide the necessary project assets following our art guidelines. This helps streamline the process and ensures the best possible outcome. Submitting files outside of these standards may lead to lower resolution and less desirable results. By adhering to our guidelines, we can expedite production and maintain the high-quality standards you expect.

Key points to consider:

  • All files should be at least 300 dpi in CMYK or RGB color mode. Accepted formats include TIFF, EPS, layered PSD, or layered AI files.
  • Please avoid submitting thumbnails or web images, as they often lack the required resolution.
  • Logos should ideally be vector files (AI or EPS). If submitting for silk screen or standard printing, a 300 dpi JPEG is acceptable.
  • For projects involving specific fonts, include them with any InDesign file or send them separately. For PDFs or AI files, outline the fonts to ensure consistent display.
  • Provide Pantone or CMYK values for accurate color reproduction if specific colors are required.
  • Our graphics team can assist with custom art or designs if needed. Please note that additional charges may apply for these services.

Our goal is to deliver exceptional results that match your vision, and following these guidelines ensures a smooth process from start to finish.

What if my art assets do not meet your requirements?

We understand that original art asset files may be lost, compromised, or unavailable in layered or high resolution formats. Here’s what you should know:

• Layered art files offer flexibility in creating dimensional designs, however it is feasible to create designs using non-layered art
• Low resolution art may appear grainy, pixelated, or blurry when scaled up. In such cases, we recommend incorporating art on a smaller scale for optimal quality

We value the significance of including art in your designs. Our team is dedicated to finding the best solution, even with less-than-ideal art. We’ll work closely with you to ensure the art’s inclusion and achieve the best outcome.
